Folk Dance festival 2008

Last summer we had one of the greates events in Latvia – folk song and dance festival. I would say dance festival as for me this is the main - I am taking part in dance performances. Official web page http://www.dziesmusvetki2008.lv
During whole weeks trainings I manage to take some good pictures that show what heppened here.
Everything started with parade.

Then concert in Arena Riga – 60 year celebration since dance festival is also part of song festival (I have no pics from there)
Then dance performance “No sirsniņas sirsniņai” (“From heart to heart”)


Next big part was trainings and concerts in stadium Daugava.
